For Race use I like RCD or clone that "Good vibrations motorsports sells" . I still have some older Summers Bros. units in use with front dist drive cover.

My preference would be a 6.535 rod which I think has shelf pistons available to fit. Just my .02 cents worth. I would not waste time and money on the combo with stock rods.

The stiffer sidewall tires are normally quite a bit heavier. Affects static weight and rotational mass during acceleration. This could cause a change in ET

Did the box job to many Road race motorcycle engines in the early 70's before aftermarket started offering them. Never had a problem doing it and most failures were due to loose nut on the throttle .

On a Roots blower it will build boost like right now and carry it in a linear fashion until about 9000 rotor rpm. This will vary a bit depending on weather it is set up with sealing strips or not and if it is a standard helix or hi helix . Also the newer blowers with altered inlet and exit openings ...

Just behind the front journal 1486 and maybe 1583 (hard to read) then between front two lobes "15". between next two lobes "C35" And still further back a "16"and what looks like L0 or a L01. The machined ends are unmarked.
