Re: Need help cam profile for 125cc four stroke single cylin

We've got a very severe vibration only on the left alloy footrest on the shifter side. Makes your foot numb and its very hard to shift. Your foot looses muscle strength. Any idea how to lessen the vibration?

Re: Need help cam profile for 125cc four stroke single cylin

If you are changing the front ride height, you should change the rear ride height also, to preserve correct steering geometry, which is important for stability and proper steering characteristics. As a first estimate, relative to stock, change rear ride height by the same amount that you change the...

Re: Need help cam profile for 125cc four stroke single cylin

The Stock sheet shows an intake port that is backing up with more lift and an exhaust port the has gone flat. This condition would be a reason the limit total valve lift. Flow is never a reason to limit lift. If your flow curve drops after 0.250", and you only lift to 0.250", you have a d...

Re: Need help cam profile for 125cc four stroke single cylin

The only reason why I lower the front end is for the rider position wherein he can easily avoid wheelies. I also notice that raising the front end gives much more rear tire grip. But the rider is having difficulty at launch coz the bike would wheelie. As you know this bike has auto clutch so you it...

Re: Need help cam profile for 125cc four stroke single cylin

Hello, I want to ask you guys if you have advice on how high or low the front suspension should be? Is there any negative effect lowering the front end so much? You can see on the pictures the height of the bike's front and rear. Pablo, Yes, there is a potentially negative effect. Sliding the fork ...

Re: Need help cam profile for 125cc four stroke single cylin

Hi Pablo. The reason for a range of lift is that not all head designs are capable of achieving the recommended valve lift (design limited) and there may be a design reason to choose a greater lift if available. (intake/exhaust flow support) I suggest you target the recommended lift plus what more y...

Re: Need help cam profile for 125cc four stroke single cylin

Wiring done, ignition coil bracket and gas tank done. Just need to change the steel seat into aluminum and install alloy foot pegs. Also planning to order new cam with the specs recommended by PCNSD. Lesser overlap and less duration. I think it's gonna work really good. https://www.dropbox.com/s/k42...

Re: Need help cam profile for 125cc four stroke single cylin

You shouldn't be having problems with E6013, and you should be around 100amps with 2.5. If the mains power supply is poor it would explain 140 amps. Clean all the paint and dirt off the area. Press the tip of the rod on hard the metal, making sure the arc doesn't start, and hold the rod with a bare...

6013 rod can be hard to use, I bought some by mistake and it was a mistake. That's what I'm using, 6013 rod and it's really hard to start and maintain the arc. Any advice on what rod I should use? ================= What rod size? What thickness of material being welded? What amperage setting? AC or...

Re: Need help cam profile for 125cc four stroke single cylin

Lately one of those lawyer ads on TV has caught my attention. They are looking for folks who have developed Mesothelioma ( considered asbestos related cancer, that killed Steve McQueen). There are huge trust funds set aside for potential asbestos victims. The ad mentions and shows videos of a bunch...
