Dorton Carb Spec Sheet
Has anyone seen the spec sheet that is used for building a 4412 or the 350 Holley carbs? I've heard the phrase "Dorton Specs" many times when talking about these circle track carbs but I can't seem to find a sheet that gives all those special dimensions of the carb. I would like a full lis...

Re: Rochester 2bbrl circle track
I have a few of those exact boosters new in a box. I bought a huge box of 2G carbs awhile back, and found a variety of different boosters. I didn't realize there was such a variety of those made back in the day. The boxes have the part number on it if you need it for some reason.

Sioux SX-500 seat grinding driver unit WANTED
I'm looking to buy a used SX-500 Sioux Tools style seat grinding driver like pictured. I see they're available new but was hoping I could find a used one beings some people thought they was under powered, and decided it wasn't what they wanted.

Valve seat runout gauge wanted
I'm looking to buy a valve seat runout gauge, preferable for the smaller diameter seats.
I'm needing this for the .385" top Sioux pilots.
Thanks in advance...

GM Quad 4 2.3 / 2.4 oil pump pickup
Has anyone made a custom oil pump pickup and left the bypass outside of the pickup tube while doing a 2.3 pump onto a 2.4 engine? Normally the bypass dumps inside the factory pickup, and I would like to leave it out for a few reasons.
Any ideas???

GM 604 Crate bronze valve guides
Hi guys, I have a circle track GM 604 crate engine coming in that split a valve guide, I want to get a couple guides coming ahead of time. Do anyone of you know what the GM part number is or an equivalent guide pat number is?
Also, who makes these heads for GM? Part number for these too.
Thanks!

Re: 383 SBC cam and combo help
He is going to use small tube headers that he has already. I think they are 1 5/8" or 1 3/4" tubes. He also already has a GM Performance dual plain 602 crate intake for the Vortec heads. He's trying to use some of the stuff he has laying around. More help on the camshafts would be nice... ...

Re: 383 SBC cam and combo help
The car is a 1966 ElCamino with 4:10 gears. I'm not sure on the tire size. It already had hydraulic roller lifters, which would be replaced with new ones.
He just put in a Ford 9" rearend.

383 SBC cam and combo help
I have a friend building a 383 stroker SBC, using the one piece rear seal ( VORTEC ) block. This is going into his old street rod. He plans to run a carb on pump gas. He wants to keep using a hydraulic roller cam of some profile. He also was going to buy a set of Air Flow Research AFR 190 Vortec SBC...
