Re: Cam Opinions
Thanks guys.. I only have 1.7 rockers now BUT I'm willing to upgrade. So, you guys are liking the 112 even 110 better? Typically in similar combos we have ran 114 LSA. A 112 would probably generate a pretty descent amount of TQ vs the 114 at 6800-7000 right?? That definitely has me thinking!!!!! I'l...

Well I have to ask. Do you guys really think it's necessary to provide the MSD with 12.5+ volts? I've known people that have done dyno testing with 12 volts vs 16 and there was no difference. MSD claims that it will operate at 10 and that their is no difference between voltages because it has an int...

Here's a couple places I found them. 100A seems to be the smallest.

Dave I have located the jacobs accuvolt boxes should I be concerned of the amperage drop? Im just running a fuel pump, water pump, ignition, and data recorder with o2's. I know the voltage to the msd box is a potential problem the car runs big speed out of the blue then the rest of the time it seems l...

I used to sell a gadget to my nitrous users from Jacobs Electronics called an Accu-volt that solved your type of problem. Kind of a step up transformer I think. They got bought out by Mr Gasket which got bought out by...... and it seems to have vanished. Might do some googling. I sell more MSD magn...

Re: Low Battery Voltage????
I would like to know if anyone has tried a V battery voltage regulator or similiar units to boost battery voltage on a 12 volt battery. The application is 500 ci comp engine that we constantly struggle to get more than 12.0 volts to the msd box going down the track with a pc925 battery. I know I sh...

I know we like using it when storing blocks, machining aluminum on the mill, lathe, grinding aluminum, etc.. I even use it to help clean my dirt bike chain, the wax I use on my dragboat prop and anything else that involves scotch brite (for the most part). I remember seeing a list of WD40 uses. I'll...

Good afternoon everyone. I was wondering if I could get some thoughts on a couple things. 1. What batteries are you guys running? I currently run a MSD 7AL3 with air solenoids, electric water pump, fuel pump and fan. Do you guys think a 12v yellow top optima will handle the load? I currently run one...

Valve Spring and rocker Question
This is just a general question. I was wondering if pro stock or any other teams out there remove the rockers after the race? Just curious. Is it just a completely waste of time?
