Re: Jones cam making too much power
] I told you before. You can come by the shop when you come to town to dyno your engine, and I'll show you. For the Daytona 500, my cams have only powered one winner, and two pole positions. Well then, we will automatically just believe what you you post because you said it....just like you say we ...

Re: 700 HP--421 on pump gas
You gotta love these chest thumping dyno posts. I had a guy once buy a complete motor from a big name builder to see where we were on power. The builder told me it made 890HP and I don't remember the torque but I think he said something like 750. We bolted it up to the dyno looking for the 890 and ...

Re: Are Spintron and R&D Reliable?
He is right......You are pretty out of line with this post. You may have had different experiences with whatever you are doing now, but that doesn't make it the norm. My street motor turns 8800 on every single 2-3 shift at the track.......and I don't have "Pro Stock" springs. Fact t...

Your right.....sorry about that.....good luck with your build fella....eikoor wrote:Jake you got your quotes are backwards, Fbird said that not me.
Thats a nice set up you have, I will probably only be running the Extreme 274 grind with a stud mounted 1.7 so I probably want even see 7000 on mine.

Re: Are Spintron and R&D Reliable?
You are being a idiot about this... Street motors do not rev to 7900 rpm. This cam ( and your street motor is all done by 6800-7000rpm. If you want to rev the shit out of your street motor you had best get pro stock springs and a billet RACE ROLLER Cam ands the best valve train > Get your head out ...

Re: Pump gas or so I thought
I can't speak for this guys deal, but on DW 11 I got stuck with 87 in mine for 1 tank. I pulled 3° of timing and it ran fine. It did try to diesel when I shut it off though. He should be fine if he is just driving around and not beating the snot out of it. If I were him, I'd also be blending fuel to...
