Looking for Fluid Density meter

Post by jrcentllc »

A few Questions about hydometers (fluid desity meter);

I need a tester for specific gravity of dyno fuel primarily, however we do check fuel (gas and alcohol) for customers. Battery hydometers are the same tester but a different range? A digital testor should cover a wider range than a old bulb type? Do they automatically adjust for temp? Anyone have such a testor, and input on were and what company is better would be greatly apreciated.
The day I know it all, shoot me.

The only dumb question is one that wasn't asked and now you have a bigger problem.

Seems dyno instrument help is slow coming here. (!) Please help!

Seems no one with a dyno knows if there are any other air hat manufacturers besides SuperFlow... :(
Hopefully someone will chime in soon.

Fisher Scientific

http://www.fisherscientific.com/

I bought three;

.650/.700 PN 11-603-4A
.700/.750 PN 11-603-4B
.750/.800 PN 11-603-4C

You can order them here;

These work well in a cylinder about a foot tall. Fisher recommends this cylinder -->> 08-530K;

Class King by "air hat" are you talking about the SuperFlow volumetric flowmeter thinger or just an adapter from the carb to an air hose?
