Scott Parks Runs 6.776/197.59/-0.644, Now #5 A/ND Index: 7.42

Record: 6.810/191.95
Congrats Chad, that's one hell of a pass. That certainly raised the bar in the A/ND class. Kinda crazy it took this long for someone to finally go faster than an 81, as I believe 3 different guys have been that fast.
Hopefully these new heads I just finished will give the Parks some competition next year :)

Thanks Ricky. We changed a few things before the Finals and when I got that text I just about stroked out! LOL..

One thing I do know about the Parks is they hope your guy is fast (anyone actually) because they truly love the competition and it fuels them.

Again thanks, much appreciated..

these were Dyno numbers "As Run" in the FaceBook Video

14.9:1 CR Q16 Race Gas
Peak TQ = 598.4 at 7000 RPM 0.516-BSFC 368.5=FuelLbs 17.3=Vacuum
Peak HP = 861.5 at 8100 RPM 0.447=BSFC 344.8=FuelLbs 17.2=Vacuum

-------------------------------------------------------------

we just freshened up the Engine recently
did a little more Short Turn + Valve Job work
raised CompRatio 0.9 points from 14.9:1 CR to 15.8:1 CR
and got these Dyno numbers on JeffWales_SBC_March_29_2019

Q16 Race Gas 15.8:1 CR
Peak TQ = 595.7 at both 7000 and 7100 RPM
Peak HP = 877.3 at 8300 RPM ... higher Peak RPM than last years 8100 RPM

just last weekend won another Mud Truck Event with that 877.3 HP Engine

Both Dyno sessions with :
Gary Williams 1080 CFM Carb with Q16 Race Gas
GM Chevy cast aluminum Manifold #285 18deg 5053 with Manifold-to-Head adapter spacers
4.123x3.625= 387.0 cid
36.0 BTDC ignition timing

that's a 387cid SBC .... you should very easily make over 800+ HP with a 402cid SBC , than you thinking only 700 HP :D

Craig makes 1024 Peak HP @ 9400+ RPM with 15:1 CR and Rotary Hilborn Injectors on Methanol with those Heads on a 407cid SBC

that 387cid would have made at least +15 or more HP if we could have fit
a true Full-Length Race Oil Pan !!!
