nitrous and methanol/water

We are running a 3406b block cat engine in our race truck. My question is, if we are running 4 foggers into the engine foggining meth/water, will the nitrous cool the pistons, The engine breaths great. We also have a specialty cam with high lift/ duration, so we are getting lots of air into the combustion chamers.

I don't believe nitrous will cool the pistons since it accelarates combustion by providing a higher % of oxygen In gasoline burning engines we have to seriously retard the spark timing to get the engines to live and make power and we are injecting extra fuel with the nitrous

I have heard of theses hot rod diesels actually lowering the compression to make power but what I just said is as much as I know about it
