Very old thread, but the link below offers 10° and 14° advance stop bushings for MSD Pro Billet distributors..
http://www.4secondsflat.com/MSD%20Distr ... Tuning.htm

My total is happy at 30°, big cam likes (loves) 18°-20° initial.
10° in the dizzy would be perfect. :)
Minimum MSD supplied is 18°

Has anyone else bought and used these?

I used the 10 degree bushing from these guys. Its a tight fit and takes a little filing to get it work without the advance mechanism sticking.

Thanks. Did you need to file the bushing into an elongated shape, or did you file the slot?
Access to the slot doesn't look good. :)

I make custom bushings for these all the time. I made them have 10 deg advance and maxe one to lock out the timing. Its size for size with the slot. Its easier than locking the distributor out how msd says and its easy to undo if you choose. If you have access to a lathe its simple.

Thanks.. :)
The diameters apparently are...
0.386" = 14° and 0.394" = 10°
ID= 0.190" x 0.150 thick.

My machine guy has gone AWOL.

RI Mike, this is the guy you need to call, Don Gould, FBO Systems, www.4secondsflat.com. He has bigger MSD advance bushings you are looking for to dial in your MSD Distributor. Give him a call, be patience, you may have to leave him your number and explain to him what you need. 541-942-5920. Good luck, i got MSD advance bushings from him MSD doesnt have. Good luck.
