Dunno… I won't see the car for another 4 weeks. I'll ask the kid the next time I talk to him but he's working his butt off right now and won't be racing again until late September.

Those shocks look bent to me to and the mounting at the bottom appears to be causing them to bind, they appear to need spaced out from the pic.

Just guessing here but the J-bar may be moving the whole rear axle one way with it being way above normal suspension travel . We had the shocks off the car Saturday and nothing is binding… everything moves nice and free. The car has the same set-up it's had for the past three seasons it was raced after being converted to a 3-link from a 4 bar set-up.

The shocks do need to be serviced with fresh oil, have the o-rings, etc. looked at… just normal maintenance stuff.

Big money race before the Dtwc for mods has been won by. a leaf car over 4 bars more than once recently.

That's good to know… I like those leaf cars.

BTW… My son finished in a tie for 43rd spot in the final points at ABC Raceway… 43rd was lat place but I won't telling him that.
