Sb2.2 crankshaft

Post by ClassicComp »

Need a crank for a bow tie block with 283 mains. 3.625 stroke or longer. Option1 for me would be grinding a 350 main journal crank down. Anyone see any problem with this? Does it have to be rehardened?

I'm quite sure I have a 3.750 stroke billet Winberg sitting around if you need it.

If you end up grinding a 350 main crank down, I'd invest in REM finishing in addition to any hardening.
