Greetings,
Anyone have advise on installing an SBC 355 & Muncie into the mustang? I have a fresh mild build motor & Trans and have access to a 96 rolling chassis mustang. Budget deal, trying to provide my mechanical engineering graduate student son with some hands on experience. I know that a ford motor is obvious, but I don't have one. Thank you in Advance.

I would just drop it in and weld some mounts to the stock k-member, modify the crossmember as needed. I will go in and work, but be prepared for some minor fab. Exhaust could be interesting, as far as headers etc but it can be done. I have a 5.3 in a 96 Stang and it wasnt that hard. It was actually harder b/c of all the turbo stuff under the hood.

You might want to figure out the exhaust thing before you weld up any mounts.
So much to do, so little time...

Just go to RaceCraft and buy all the required parts to bolt-on including headers.
