ford focus balance shaft timing

Post by jred »

i have a late model 2.0 ecoboost thats in an off road car . I took off the counterbalance on the bottom of the block to replace bearings. Not in my wildest dreams did i think that it would not be marked or that Mitchell/all-data wouldn't have the information on this but they don't. Furthermore this seems to be ford only information, as the internet and ford say that the information is not available and that a new short-block is the only way to have the counter-shafts in time with the crank...
Can some one point me to some information on this thanks

I rebuilt the bottom end of a Duratec and had no problems with getting the info from Alldata.

Gotta love engines with no timing marks and no keyways on anything.

Thanks
