you still got lots of good parts
find a HR block
there are differences
I have an 83 302 bronco that will need a motor someday
Lighting sounds good with an
AOD instead of C6

Thanks wyrmrider, I appreciate your input. Did some research on the 351w roller blocks and found out they have a problem cracking from the spider hold downs through the cam bearing oil feed hole. I may be looking for an older block!

The F4TE will live a long, happy life for what you want and will make using a HR cam much more affordable. I'd be looking for another one.

I think you are right JWebb. I found one builder who will not us the f4te block for any applications. He states that 3/10 are cracked upon disassembly and that was while making 200hp!

Lower gr40 after rough out.
I did some reaserch on this manifold and TMoss porting states that the stock lightning 351w lower flows 280 cfm! I will not be able to make the heads flow that so this may be a wasted effort but a look at the manifold with such steep doglegs I find it hard to believe it flows so well. Does anyone have solid info on gt40 intake and head flow? Stock vs. Ported. Thanks. Charlie
