Braided lines plumbed water from back of intake to front.Carnut1 wrote:Love it, thanks! Hey, what is with the not so hidden braided lines?
Odds are any lift/window area you end up with on an optimized combo at TDC is just the result of a compromise of other parts of the lift curve.zums wrote: An overlap snap shot of a nano second, is that the best choice?

I also believe the comp will outrun the original cam, if it can be controlled. At least I hope so, at least its on a decent core, unlike the Bullet which came on a cast core for a premium price. Carnut, Balance? Like Split I guess?Carnut1 wrote:I will take the Comp for 10. I think it will have a better balance. Thanks, Charlie
Quick look at the ports, balance intake flow vs. exhaust flow. I do think the exhaust duration was excessive for a good flowing exhaust port. Thanks, CharlieCGT wrote:I also believe the comp will outrun the original cam, if it can be controlled. Gotcha, Im not sure if Randy posted the exhaust flowz on the new heads. The new heads do have 52 degree Ex seats. The difference between the exhaust lobes fades pretty fast after about .150 lift or so.Carnut1 wrote:Quick look at the ports, balance intake flow vs. exhaust flow.
