mcsa calculator

Post by danta »

Hi , I am looking for a calculator to calculate the dimensions of mcsa including the radius . I found one in Wallace Racing but it dont include the radius. I founded one in Speedtalk a couple of months ago but i lost the bookmarks in my computer.
Thank you Dan

The radii don't make a lot of difference compared to the height x width and the math's pretty simple: just subtract the area of a circle of 'x' radius from 2x². E.g. 1/2" radii = (0.5")² x π = 0.786 ²" 1.0 x 1.0 = 1.0²". 1.0-0.786 = 0.215²", which is subtracted from the H x W value.

Has anyone seen the one that subtracts 1mm from every dim for Poiseville flow at the walls?
