They look like they might be made in a semi-permanent mold (iron mold forms the outside, shell cores form the inside)
Edelbrock has a semi-permanent molding setup for heads, maybe manifolds too.
Could also be Chinese at those prices.
Making a manifold like that for ~$150 is very low profit business.
Good chance that the casting is not heat treated, might be OK for a manifold if it is 356.
