Building a 565 BBC pump gas built
9.8 dart block
Afr 357 heads
10.8 to 1
4.600 bore
4.250 stroke
270 ish 280ish
112 is
108ic
Looking for a manifold choice for direct port now
2927 sniper or 2896 thoughts ? wasn't sure if the velocity would support the 2896 intake

Pretty similar to a 555 I did a few years ago, used the 2927 with some plenum work. Made 830+/720 on 92 octane @ 6800.

For your application, I would choose the 2896 SV565, key reasons is the straighter longer runners. And less need to modify. The other manifold is a nice choice as well, but really wakes up when ported.
That being said either choice can make great power, the Sv565 out of the box will make more peak power with a Cam in the mid 270/280s...

And yeah for real the OP never mentioned he was building a blower manifold. It kills me to see this site going the way it has been lately.

A lot of great minds have started ignoring posts, or have just left because of the internet know it all spreading their bs.

sorry for the rant. But I'm sick of these 30 page posts, where the original question was answered in the first 2

The point is that without knowing is application and all the other details we can't answer the question- but a couple of good suggestions
my blower injection was to signal that we had gone about as far as we could go
like
is this for a boat? strip only, motorhome?

Ok, I gotcha. But, he gave the specs of the engine, and, it wouldn't really matter what it was going in, you can see what his intentions and power goals are, just based on the info he gave. And specifically asked about a couple of intakes. Personally, I would use the 2927, and do some plenum porting.

Years ago I was at the Ozark Fall O'Reilly Nat's in Springfield, MO and saw what I think back now as being a new Holley oval port Strip Dom. manifold that fit a big Dom. Carb!!

I looked down into it and it was like that it was a toilet bowl..

^^^^, to be blunt, and totally honest, you could sure take advice from much worse sources. Everyone of you on this site would be STUNNED to see the number and level of projects I have in my shop, and, wouldn't question a thing I said if you did see. This site is broken. Truly, I am out, you won't see nor hear a peep out of me again. Later, good luck with all your projects. To bad, pretty sure Matt will bail as well. Another source of info that's beyond most of your comprehension. Unfortunately, that's pretty much what everyone that has ever been on here that was worth listening to, long gone. Peace out, moderator, cancel my account, thanks.
