What is the CSA of the center of that X pipe compared to the CSA of 2 x 2.25" pipes ??

Also keep in mind that an Impco 425 mixer in a N/A application is typically maxed out at 320fwhp with a GOOD setup.

I didn't measure the X-pipe's crosssection before installation but I did have a peek inside and it looked large and open enough.
Did grind away some welding flash on the inside around the opening, mainly to just make it 'purdy'.

This little engine is nowhere near the limits of the IMPCO carb yet. I think it has to find another 100hp somewhere for that.
But that won't happen as it will be replaced with a 360ci.
