Sounds interesting, not sure how accurate though.
Looks to me, like something you would sell to a sanctioning body, so they can make sure their "spec" cams are legal.

As for accuracy, when I design a cam, I design it 8 points pass the decimal point(.00000000"). Allowable Runout on the master is less then .0002". When we straighten the cams for finish grinding, we straighten them to less then .0003"TIR.

The specs on the Quick Cam Tester lift sensor is .0004" measurement resolution.
The standard lift sensor on the Audie Cam Pro Plus, has a resolution of .00004". They also have an upgrade that's 10 times more accurate.

For what its worth my Performance Trends tester uses an OnoSokki Linear Gauge Sensor part number GS-1630A

That's an accurate sensor.

I think the Cam Pro Plus also has some mount gizmo that allows testing with engine in the car/cam in the block.
