I'm building a wall to separate dirty/clean. I would absolutely hate to be building my shop right now. Must be all the natural disasters we have had. My, how lumber took a hike! First of the year, 2x4 stud was $1.59.. Saturday at the same place $3.89... crazy

Mini air grinders for me.
Thats why I use a Foredom with a foot control and a cable operated hand piece. I like air but it's hard on the compressor.
SAme here. Big electric for larger removal, foredom for the rest. Cant see the need for air anymore

And my permit was finally approved today :(, note the stakes and string in the background.

Bought some lumber this weekend for a pumpkin chuckin manine im building with the kids.....it should throw a 10lb pumpkin 100 yards. There a contest at their karate, after that I think skeet shooting pumpkins would be awsome! But it was $300 for all the stuff.

Those are very cool...but hard to make. We're building a trebuchet. It will use barbell weights as the counter weight, I'm designing for 500lb max. I think 350 or so will get us to 100 yards. It will all fold up for storage and transport and be held together with 4 racket straps so 5 minute setup....in theory amy way :)

I found an on line simulator that's fun to play with. We using an 8'long arm and sling, 3' short arm and length of weight, 6.5' pivot height.

I need to get it done this weekend, the garage construction starts next week with moving a buried propane tank on Tuesday, then I'm ready to di g for the foundation

Yes and No the USA Canada softwood lumber agreement expired and with Chump tearing up every trade deal he can, it's doubtful it will be settled soon. So lumber imports from Germany are up almost tenfold at 900%, Russia up 42%, Brazil up 64%.
