LS7 Valve Guide source

Post by evanjm »

Hey everyone,

I've got a pair of LS7 heads with some pretty badly worn exhaust valve guides (go figure).
I've checked my usual sources, like SBi, for valve guides and they don't seem to list any.

Does anyone have a good source for a replacement guide for this head?

Thanks in advance,
Evan

A new LS7, or a 1970 LS7?

PPPC or PEP have a decent selection of guides.
PPPC can supply any ID OD and length you want as a replacement guide in bronze.
Have used lots of PPPC stuff and they are real time savers as you can get them close enough to just hone a few 10ths out of them to finished size and then cut for the seal and your done =D> They Are a bit more then a stock replacement guide but without the extra clearance tolerance to deal with.
