Here is a plate for using existing headers made for 400 or 351m engines and 4v heads. As you know the headers only come in 2v exh. We have dynoed the headers and they allow for good tq down low. This plate fits between the header to get a better seal.Sanderson does make a shorty style.

My customer who ran 4V heads on a 400 engine in a '79 Bronco used a set of over the frame fenderwell style headers that were home made with the larger flanges. I think that he sold them with the engine.

Yes Dave you can make a set but no one offers other than sanderson shorty headers. Just trying to eliminate a step on a budget.

What about using a set for the 460 from L and L. Cut off the flanges and pull the pipes around to match your bore spacing. That might open up some possibilities without having to fabricate the entire header.

Wasn't a BBC header a viable alternative 40 years ago?
