Can anyone supply a for sure chamber size on this head #14092359? Iron oval port, open chambered 427 tall deck 86-89 small valve 2.06/1.72 ( not a peanut port and nowhere can I find the cc's of the combustion chamber online after hours & hours of searching!

116-118cc's according to my source(s). '88-'89-ish trucks, 2.19/1.72 valves, may or may not be marked 'High Perf'.

My concern is that we are not talking about the same head. This definitely has 2.06 intake & 1.72 exhaust valves. It does have "High Perf" ( which we know is bs by the valve size ).. I figure the chamber is larger like the numbers you are listing but would be nice to be sure so I can pass this on to customer when we get the project finished.

I can't believe I didn't check this while the heads were off a few weeks back!!

I found 118 CCs being listed right off the bat, but of course this is before a freshen up valve job if such was done?

Ok now..... that's why you have "5 wrenches" and I only have "2 wrenches"!! ( LOL ) Can I ask how you located that info or what your source was?

If that is accurate, and assuming I have zero deck height that puts me at slightly under 8.5:1 CR.

Does, "MORTEC", or, "Chevy Tech", have this info listed for BBC heads?

It's been a while since I have looked on their sites is all.....

No they do not. They list the number but do not list the combustion chamber size. I cannot find this info anywhere on the web.

After increasing the valves and a lite re-surfacing mine were 113 so 118cc stock seems reasonable.
