Thinking of 572 build pump.gas nos I want to use afr's im thinking 380's any thoughts

IMHO 380 is too much head for 572 pump gas motor. I would use 340 - 360.

And yes my current build is a 350 vortec I also have a 380 sbo and a 468 bbo im currently working on

For a street car you should choose a cross section for the rpm range the car will be in most of its life. On pump gas we have a customer with 930HP out of 572CID and it has a modified AFR335 head on it.
