Buddy has good running engine in 57 or8 turnpike cruiser for sale but its in ohio.

57 TC engine is a Y block 58 is a MEL..

Easiest would be to replace what you have.. That engine bay looks huge, but look at a 61 Lincoln engine compartment with engine installed... not a lot of daylight there. There are plenty of rusty Lincolns out there that run. I would search for an original.. Lincoln changed bell housings 2 times in this series, mostly because of clearance issues.. a later 460/c/6 would run into clearance issues if you want to keep the AC and heater .. Also these have windshield wipers operated by the power steering pump so a regular remote mounted pump probably does not have the capacity to run steering and wipers at the same time

During the fuel ban cubic inches was king.. At the time the Lincoln, was the biggest block around and could get over 500 pretty easily.
