Can someone please tell me, what is the best valve spring remover for use with heads fitted to block.
I am doing a SB chev and the springs are so large I have to torque heads on first then fit springs afterwards.
This thing would be handy for changing springs on the dyno as well.
Is there any type of air powered spring compressor that will work with fitted heads ?

I like the acme screw type compressors, too. It allows you to compress the spring and have it stay in place while you put the locks in. Heres a link to some of the people who make them-

This is the one moroso makes-

I don't like it as much because of the long handle that goes on it. It sometimes interfears with things.

-That Moroso tool allows the handle to swivel 360 degrees and you can even rotate the handle while the spring is compressed, the handle just slips onto the short stub of the compressor so you can make any length handle you want from a piece of conduit or pipe, so I don't see why the handle length or the orientation is any problem whatsoever.
-I've used the Moroso tool since the first day they were available and I've made several adapters to fit some shaft mount applications and I don't see any major issues with it.
