Give me the oil galley size and will check tomorrow. the OD of the restrictor will depend on the galley size there can be two different ones. I get mine from Esslinger.

most all of mine are for circle track :D

These just set inside of the back oil galley hole where you would put oil pressure guage line from head coming up from block.
Esslinger part number for 7/16 ID is E2348 and for 7/8 is E2350 hope this helps sorry but don't have the OD of the restrictors
at hand. it just floats in there.

The restrictor doesn't have a hole in it, it is solid and partially blocks the oil gallery.

Are you planning on restricting the oil hole between the block and head surface? .080. The holes in the cam lobes are where the most oil comes. I've seen cams with 1/8 lobe oiling holes and they flood things quickly.

I'd watch when you do that because it bypasses the oil pump more and will strain the dizzy gear if running one and a 3/16 roll pin will be an absolute and it should be that size with a roller cam anyway.

Running big lift (>.720) and low duration(< 260) you can't restrict the oil before the cam lobe. It will wipe out the cam bearings quickly. Back when I use to run triple springs on those things it was a religious event to change the cam bearings regularly.

I don't know specifically your setup but if you post that up I'll try to assist.

Yes l am looking to restrict that hole between the block and head the cam is roller someone has put a tube in the head but the hole is pretty big have not measured it yet I will and I will get the cam lift and the spring pressure on Monday and it is a dirt circle track 3/8 mile application and yes I was concerned about the cam bearings also . Thanks

IMO .080 is enough but JD that posted above you said .095. He's built more than I have. That cam is rather mild. I see no worries for you with a .080-.095 restrictor. That big holed cam lobe can really flood things. A .190 restrictor would flood the hell out of everything IMO.
