There have always been and there will always be great people from all walks of life. The question becomes, who is great and why?

Bob Glidden was one of the great ones in his field for sure and my prayers are with his family
and friends.

In this Christmas season the greatest of all is celebrated.

He is the great one who was, is and is yet to come. His name is Jesus and he offers hope to the hopeless, free for the asking.

I pray that Mr. Glidden knew Jesus as well as all those who read this. .

Well put, and to me, a Chevy guy, worthy of the utmost respect and in awe of his genius. I may have rooted against him on race day but I am rooting for him now to be in heaven's garden of peace and joy.

Condolences to his family and friends.

Have a Bob story. Was racing at Brainerd in 1982 at the Northstar nationals. My boys and I was looking through the pro pits. Young son David wanted Bob and Etta's autographs but told him they were busy and we'd try later. A couple minutes later I looked around and there is David standing next to Bob with a poster and a sharpie. Bob sat down on the trailer steps with David in his lap. He told David he would sign his poster but Etta couldn't. Dave asked why not? Bob replied Etta can't write!
Anyway he got a huge poster and they both signed. That poster was on Dave's bedroom wall until he moved out going to college.
To say we were Glidden fans would be an understatement!
