There appears to be some valuable information here. Maybe a read through could clear some things up for you.

I enjoy your porting threads. I have a question on the exhaust bowl treatment in front of the valve guide (as the gas flows) See arrow on picture:
Why is this cut flat and not shaped to a divider when the bowl is opened. I don't have experience on wedge cambers but on the hemi heads I mod doing so increases low lift flow. Is the plan to limit LL flow in an effort to control reversion? Does that not also effect blow-down?

To me blowing out the bowl here knocks the llf down and adds little hlf so this time I decided to barely touch the back of the bowl and see what I can do. I am not interested in losing llf, but my porting is aimed at hlf. If a port designer was really good he could boost the whole curve.

This battle is far from over, Port energy seems to make perfect sense to me. If I am wrong and performance goes down after boosting velocity, swirl, cfm and port energy than I must be doing something wrong! Thanks, CharlieVee-Dizzie wrote: ↑Mon Dec 25, 2017 12:07 pm viewtopic.php?f=15&t=51538

Are you suggesting we race cylinder heads on a faulty computer sim as opposed to a dyno? I dont blame you for not understanding, just myself for not being able to explain it to you correctly.
I have something that im working on that I will be peddling on here coming soon. Be patient. I am currently going through contractual agreements to see what I can and cant divulge. This appears to be a great forum for advertising. Merry Christmas to the speedtalk community.

There is a lot of study going on over there dealing with the out of control hot air problem. One that needs to be solved is the exhaust "Residue" of the "Bull".

Gary, in DV's seminar he spoke of how he slowed the entire field. Maybe some keyboard warriors are on this train feeding wrong info to slow the competition.

One thing for sure, the more your willing to test the more you will learn as long as you let the data lead you to what works and you don't lead the data to prove what you think works.Carnut1 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 25, 2017 4:19 pmTrue Gary, I am lucky enough to get messages from real pros all the time. The dyno and track will always put a theory in it's place.

I was not referring to David, and I agree, David has given me far more then he has ever asked for in the years I have known him.
