Sbf detonation

Post by Calypso »

Looking for feedback from experienced Ford builders, if there are certain cylinders in mild street application (dual plane)that are more likely than the others to detonate when you reach the limit. Thinking of tuning the carb and ignition with deto sensor and WB lambda, without a Dyno and need to decide on deto sensor placement.
Another question about locating the sensor is, If placing it under valve cover bolt is a doomed approach, because there is a gasket sandwiched in between.

Which dual plane will you use?
