Samantha knew a couple where the husband welded a spark plug into the head of his 'Vette prior to trading it in. Nice.

I had (have) some very serious issues with my foot/ankle. Hospitalized numerous times. Learned WAY more about the medical industry/community than I ever thought I would.

That's one of the ugliest installations I have ever seen attempted on an engine! That is a new visual description of a real "Rube Goldberg, Mickey Mouse" example of how not to repair stripped plug threads! Pour some liquid nitrogen on those welds and hit them quickly with a chisel and peening hammer, if its an iron head they should pop loose, but who knows whats underneath! God that's Uckingfugley!!

Okay, I give. What is going on here? Those aren't actually welds holding the plugs in? Can someone explain what has happened here?

thanks,

Yes, someone mig welded in 2 plugs...probably to trade in the vehicle. A thread insert which would have been the proper fix would have been to difficult to do. Why? It's beyond me.
