Sbc pushrod length

Going from solid roller to hydraulic roller. Is there an average of how much shorter pushrod length will be with the hydraulic or will it be? .630 solid to a .540 hydraulic. Thanks

.400 is a good starting point. (Shorter)

A little late now I guess, but since pushrods can be had practically overnight, it's always best to mock-up the valve gear with an adjustable PR and then order what you need to the nearest 0.050".
