WPC surface treatments????

Post by groberts101 »

Did a search here and found zilch. Been looking at this WPC surface treatment for quite a while now. Anyone have first hand experience.. preferably with physical proof? LOL.. of reduced friction and wear reduction capability?

http://www.wpctreatment.com/

Looks promising and small parts pricing is really decent. 8 wrist pins = $40.. lifters(disassembled flat tappets) = $128. Quote for my rods, which was my main consideration since they need to be repeened after lightning anyways, was $40 apiece/$320 though.

While the concept and theory seems to have much merit.. the idea of doing it on soft bearings scares the bejesus out of me too. :-s

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Greg

Thanks! I searched but didn't get into the numerous mini, ultrafine, and other nicknamed nomenclatures to refine the search.

EDIT: Hmmm.. still nothing in the search. Guess it must be another one of those "racings best kept secrets".
