Platinum seem great for long mile stocky type stuff but personally i have swapped away from platinum etc and and had better results on boosted stuff in particular.
I will add that in these cases i had not changed the coils, leads, etc,, only the plugs so im not bashing platinum plugs at all.

Raw fuel kills platinum plugs pretty quick I know that, if you've ever had something which hasn't started for one reason or another and it's wet the plugs it's an expensive job and a bit sickening to throw a load of decent looking plugs in the trash.
