Well, this is pretty typical of what is (was?) used in Australian V8 Supercars:

Bob,
Unless I am looking at the wrong thing. Would you know why the different injector locations fro each bank?

Jon,

what happens when you change the firing order on this sim with a 7-4 swap, and then the LS firing order (which is really a Cadillac firing order)? Can you run that?

I think it’s just an optical illusion. They look the same to me.

OK I ran the numbers on the OP engine using the ram effect calculation I hope it is readable ...rpm comes out to 6887 rpm .... if the plenum is reworked the runner length could be 1/4 shorter or a few rpm higher ... the better the data you put in the more accurate the number will be ........

(2000/64.5)x 224cfm (375cfm converted from 28" to 10") = 6945rpm
Now I know where it came from.... the manual for the basic flowbench from superflow .... I got one from them when I was looking at benches in the 80's .....

The one I used should be more accurate as it uses more data rather than a constant

Not sure if this is from the same engine - Australian V8 Ford from mid 2000's.
Shows that at 4992rpm there is 3 waves and at 7444rpm 2 waves. Measured compared with simulated.

Pressure measured where in the runners?

I do not remember but the sim was adjusted to measure at the same place - it was in 2005 and I am not supposed to publish these but after 13 years and a rule change or two and the team changed engine manufacturer I figured it should be ok.

Neels,

That’s what the file name said it was. Thanks for posting those graphs!

Also I made this some time ago. This is % change over a baseline (right click, open in new tab for a better view).

This is just adjusting total intake tract length. You can see how it comes in and out of tune.
