If It is a daily drive.. just run it. If this is a very aggressive racing piece. Fix it.

If I was to pull the seat out I would weld it up and do it proper but it is not worth it on this head.

How much horsepower is being lost from a bowl/seat ridge in the wrong flow direction? Is the loss mostly at peak rpm?
(for the OPs engine, or in small block terms, 1.5hp/ci, with a 40thou mismatch)
