thinning thickened Gasgacinch

Post by fordboy628 »

Anybody ever have any luck trying to thin old, thickened Gasgacinch? Not sure what solvent to use . . . . Seems like the "solvent" can evaporate out of even tightly sealed cans that have "shelf time".

Any help would be appreciated.

Throw it away and buy new. Get a size that you will use in a year. It is not that expensive.

'The SDS says Toluene and Naptha, so a little Toluene and some Coleman lantern and camp stove fuel (white gas) should thin it.

Thanks guys for the help. I'll try toluene & report back on how it works.

And yes, probably best to toss out and buy new. But, somehow, I'm becoming my grandfather . . . . . .
