As spoken by others, this forum is the best which speaks volumes about Don and his dedication in making it the best. RIP Don and may your family be encouraged by the outpouring of love through this now resurrected forum.

Really pleased to see this forum return. It is the best technical engine forum in my opinion, with some of the most experienced and thought provoking people. Thanks to the people for its return and thanks to all you who give of your time and knowledge to create such a great forum. It is good to see it and the people back on line.

I was referred to here a couple months back, must have been around the time of Don's unfortunate passing. Glad to see it up and going. I have been reading old threads. What an awesome place.

But will it stay back? This post of mine in another thread has garnered zero responses to date. I'm disappointed that everyone is grateful for S/T's return but not to the point of suggesting ways to cover the running costs:

"Re: In Memory of Don Terrill

For those that may have missed it, I'd like to bring members' attention to Beverly Terrill's note in the "Announcements" section https://www.speed-talk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=55689 regarding how to finance the ongoing costs of operating SpeedTalk, since she will be unable to maintain Don's commercial activities.

Hopefully some effective and innovative ideas will surface, but two that I would wholeheartedly support if no better choices emerge are yearly membership fees or Crowdfunding."

Any reasonable plan or option to keep this forum up and operational would be of interest to me. The idea of paid membership or crowd funding could be explored. I personally feel this site is worth preserving and supporting, so any information on keeping the site healthy would be important to a lot of us in my opinion.
