Good Carb Tuning Info?
I have been racing circle track with Mechanical Fuel Injection and Alky since 1985 now switching over to carby and gasoline. Is there a good book or site explaining the tuning of carbs for fuel curve on the dyno? Thanks
Re: Good Carb Tuning Info?
Are there O2 sensor kits with enough memory storage to allow the tuning to be done on the track? Will the fuel you're using contain lead?

Re: Good Carb Tuning Info?
I have Racepak for O2. My point is I don't know what to do to "change the curve" We are stuck with a class carb that is too small so it will need a lean out at rpm due to the increase in vacuum. I did find a pretty good thread that explains a lot, I just don't want to ruin a metering block that is pretty close by drilling. Thanks

A good start is your BSFC numbers on the dyno.

But keep in mind B.S.F.C. alone can be deceptive, as it is a measure of efficiency and many factors besides AFR affect it.

600 Holley, 360ci, as cast Dart Platinum Iron Eagle. Curve is ok but I need to lean it over 7,000 where it starts to really pull on the boosters if possible. I am basically trying to learn what changes may help so I know a bit about what to try on the dyno. After reading what I can find and from the areas above it seems to be MAB and or emulsion circuit changes.
