This might draw a lot of different suggestions, however here it goes.
What would a recommended piston ring end gap be for a circle track 358 cu. in. engine on racing gasoline and on asphalt.
The engine is a full roller set up with brodix flowed aluminum heads, 13.5:1 Diamond pistons and a 4.060 bore.
Top ring - ?
Second ring - ?

I would check with the ring manufacturer. What ever they suggest plus an extra .002" or so to be safe if your not super sure. Because a little extra hurts nothing. .001" to tight and game over!
I can tell you first hand if you ran .030" on first and second. It would still work fine. .006" thou per inch of bore is probably really safe. So I would not think twice to set them both at .025"
Im sure you know already. But make sure the ring is square in the bore and half way down when you check.
