Anyone used the Quick Fuel QFI-500BDM ??

Post by PackardV8 »

We've not had much experience with the aftermarket TBI. They seem to be a rapidly moving target; today's latest and greatest is obsolete and unsupported tomorrow.

Anyway, a customer wants to try the Quick Fuel QFI-500BDM Master Kit. He's been sold that it will control fuel and spark and can be programmed with hand-held or laptop.

Anyone here been there done that?

No experience with or know of anyone running that specific unit, Jack. But I did quick google it and your customer could save a bunch of money by going with their base kit and adding his own regulator and fuel pump. Base kit price is $999 right now at Holley. As you said though, here today and gone tomorrow might apply here with such steep price cut. Kinda weird the master kit pricing hasn't been cut by same % though so who knows the reasoning behind the sale.
