Hi, Mike,

Being in the obsolete engine business, Speed Talk is not where most of my customers come. FWIW, from Speed Talk I get many inquiries, gladly give away a lot of free advice and occasionally get some business that might not have come my way otherwise. There's the intangible of being part of a community of experienced, knowledgeable folk who willingly share their expertise.

On the "For Sale" side, I've bought one machine and helped sell several, and that's again a valuable resource.

I've bought or brokered two valve orders from Dakota Parts Warehouse (blanking on the owner/ST member's name at the moment.), a rare original Parker Funnelweb manifold from Big Joe Sherman and six cams from Mike

not from any sales gains that i know of but from the knowlge i have gained.but i suppose if it helps me be more productive than i guess it has.
