You said roller cam bearings only need a splash of oil. Does that mean you completely block the feed hole to the bearings?

Exactly - no oil pressure to the cam journals. Just keep in mind it only works on a block with priority main oiling, otherwise the mains and rods would get zero oil. Unless the groove is restored behind the bearing (chevy). Thanks, Don
