X brace round vs square

Postby jeff swisher » Tue Jul 20, 2010 9:36 pm

I have a 1947 dodge truck that i finished last summer ,,fun driver in fact it is now my daily driver
9" rear with ford pinto front suspension...mostly stock frame I boxed it where i installed the
front and rear leaf spring mounts.
sway bars front and rear..ford explorer 4x4 sway bar in the rear and 300zx in the front

that helped with some flex...but i am going to build an x brace that bolts on under the frame

Question---should i build out of round tubing or square?

when i park crooked on a hill the driver door will not open ..it binds at the top,,so i need to remove some flex
Thanks
