Are you allowed to run a bar on back ?

Rear % help under braking, also helps on acceleration.
Do the brakes get red during the feature ?
Front only ?
Or all 4 ?
Ideally, all 4 get red at the same time. But it takes an experienced driver to do it.
Most people run more front brake, which creates a slight push under hard braking.
What are the brake temps like after a heat race ?
Front and rear ?

AND, you might need a stiffer RF spring.

Re: I need asphalt circletrack help!!
Ok checked my shock trvel indicators. shock compression is 2 1/4" rr, 2"lr, rf 2 3/8", l/f 1 3/4". I am not sure how much they extend, during braking/acceleration. Thayt is something i have yet to check.

RF 2 3/8" at the shock, depending on exactly where
the shock mounts on the lower arm, your wheels travel could be 3 - 4+".
I would pull the RF spring, and use a floor jack under the tire,
to figure out how much the wheel travels to produce 2 3/8" at the shock.

Check to make sure the shocks are not "topping out" at any point.
That unloads the tire(s) real bad.
The shocks should be in the middle of their travel at ride height.

Re: I need asphalt circletrack help!!
Being that the banking is fairly low,(car will want to roll more then a high bank) I would say start with a RF spring about 100lbs stiffer then LF. This should reduce roll, wheel travel , and help bite off. Reduce stagger an inch or so, and get the cross weight up abit.

Re: I need asphalt circletrack help!!
Holy cow! a lot of people I know are running under 600# front springs in the front of a stock sub car. Big bar soft spring setup is the way to go. We started using double the size diameter sway bar we used to. On coil over late models right around 200# fronts with 1 7/8s diameter sway bar. That was a few years ago. Most of the fast guys are on bumps around here. And some coil bind setups. That's another animal though. One of the fastest guys I know was consistently in the 130-140 range on his tire temps all the way around his car. Leaf spring rear is something I'm not used to on a pavement car. Most are 3 link.

Way too much tire stagger. It'll slow you down in the straights, keep the RR to hot and lose available traction coming out of the turn and probably feel and be loose all the way around the track. Assuming you run a locked rear end. Sounds like your trying to make chassis adjustments when your rear tires are trying to make you do donuts. Anytime a car is trying to spin out on you it will feel like it's rolling over too much. Shock travel indicators don't sound horrible. Also incorrect RF shock and LR shock can make or break you.
