I have a 65 nova with 406motor ,t350 ,8" torque converter,4:88 gears, 32x14 slicks. times are 10.6 125mph, would a 31x13 slick be better for this combination?

IT depends.
You finish line RPM should be at 5-700 RPM above PK HP, for best performance.
