Has anyone done a back to back comparison on ET or mph between a front runner wheel tyre combo and a std set of road wheels/ tyres?

What improvements did u see in ET or MPH... and what weight is you car?

Just wondering how much my 235/60-15s are costing me?

How fast does your car go? The speed rating on normal (S speed rating) passenger car tires are rated to 112 MPH (I think) Obviously this doesn't mean they're going to instantly disintegrate at 113 MPH, but if I were going 125 MPH or faster on a regular basis I'd either go to a racing tire or one that's "Y" or "Z" rated. I saw a crash once that was caused when a street radial tire came apart on a mid 9 second ~140 MPH car. I don't know what the tire looked like before the wreck though. I doubt you'd see enough ET difference to notice by changing tires.

Hopefully around 115mph...

Just wondered how much time was saved with less rolling inertia and less weight.....as you say...probably not a lot on its own....
