Need front coil springs and shocks for a '71 Camaro

Post by BrazilianZ28Camaro »

Hello there

I need to select the correct front drag springs for my '71 Z28 street/strip, small block 421" for the maximum weight transfer.
Have a correct Moroso #PN for my application would be great.

I didn't had the car on a scale after I removed the steel hood , but a educated front end weight estimate would be 1800lbs with me in it.

I'd like to have the car stance like the factory set it or a hair lower.

What 90/10 front shocks would be a good bang for the buck for my car ?

If you need more car details please let me know.

Thank you for the help in advance!

I would look into getting the QA1 Front Pro Coil system. I have used the Moroso Trick Springs with Koni SPA1 shocks also. Both work well however there is more adjustability with the QA1 set up. It is basically a coil over to fit the factory control arms which allows you to adjust your ride height. Seems as though the Moroso springs never work out perfect to the ride height you want and you are stuck with whatever it ends up unless you cut a coil off the springs. But that's only an option if it's too high. I like the QA1 set up better on my car.
