Searching for a frame to start a 6200lb Modified 4x4 Pulling Truck. Cannot be custom built i.e. Tubular Chassis. Has to be something stock. I was thinking a 3/4 ton or maybe even a 1 ton Chevy frame. It will have a 90' S10 extended cab body mounted on it and Dana front and rear ends. Any ideas/suggestions? Anyone ever built one from the ground up before and knows what will work best for what I want to do.

Probably an M1008 military K30. Which, by the way, will have a Dana 60 front end, a 14 bolt corporation rear end, a TH400 transmission, and possibly even an NP205 gear drive transfer case, if it is an older model. There are still a few being sold at auction by the government. Ideally, for you, find one that has body damage and a dead diesel engine, since you don't need either.
